Company Overview
Compudigital Industries is the Christian Owned
provider of WEB and P/C Based custom applications and middleware for many Fortune 100 companies within the United States and Canada including
SONY, NBC, Universal Studios, and Hewlett Packard. This is a great opportunity for an Experienced Programmer focusing on the design and
development of applications for a new Near Filed Access Card Technology being introduced in North America. Compudigital Industries is the
first System Integrator and Application Design firm to utilize this technology within the United States and Canada.
Programmer Position Summary:
Designs and develops applications to support the use of Near Field Technology card reader/writers and middleware to
interface with current customer systems. Creates architectural solutions for proposed new projects and provides the time and cost estimates
associated with these architectures. Establishes programming standards and program documentation requirements. Monitors and reports on system
design processes. Reviews current status of system applications and recommends system improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
A. Technical training or knowledge: Advanced knowledge of C++ and Visual Basic programming using Visual Studio as the
application development tool, software and database development, methods, tools and techniques. Intimate knowledge of the Software Development
Lifecycle. Familiarity with personal computer and server hardware and networking. Knowledge of enterprise-scale business systems, their
complexities and special considerations. Knowledge of middleware and its implementation, and object-oriented analysis, design and development.
Must have advanced-programmer level knowledge/experience in the following technologies: SQL, MySQL, Java, and ODBC connectivity. Must understand
and be able to setup and program in Microsoft ASP.NET and an understanding of Cold Fusion is helpful but not required.
B. Professional training or knowledge: Requires ability to work in a structured development environment, with multiple team
members working on inter-dependent code segments. Must be able to research new concepts, technologies, and development methods, and
present/explain where these fit in the current environment. Must remain current with changing technology, periodic training is often
required.
C. Work experience: From 4 to 8 years programming experience – a minimum of 3 years experience using Microsoft Visual
Studio. Experience will demonstrate a progressive increase in responsibility in application software, database development and
maintenance/configuration.
D. License required: Valid California driver’s license.
E. General education or equivalent: Must have successfully completed the requirements for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, MIS, or an equivalent post secondary educational degree.
